Community Arts Marketing
For the nonprofit 3 Dots Downtown in State College, PA, I designed branded social media templates & special marketing campaigns.
Weekly Social Media
My first design project for 3 Dots Downtown was a revamping of the weekly templates used on social media. I reviewed the organization's brand standards and wanted to highlight the bright, saturated colors that convey 3 Dots' creativity and uniqueness. I introduced dynamic lines and bold (but readable) headers to catch scrollers' attention. Numerous layouts allow the weekly announcements to catch the eye each time while maintaining a cohesive brand image. With templates ready to go in InDesign, social media posts become easy to create & each week.
Exhibition Advertising
Featuring an array of artists from around Pennsylvania, the gallery is a vibrant, year-round hub of creativity in downtown State College. Using a mix of 3 Dots' and exhibition-specific branding, I aim to highlight the details of on-view artworks in posts and fliers, enticing viewers to come check out the exhibitions in person.
Print Advertisements
Both 3 Dots and SoBar (a Gorinto Productions-owned mocktail bar that lives in the space) were featured in the Centre Film Festival's programming publication in Fall 2022. I remixed my previously-designed materials in full- and half-page formats.
Special Events Advertising
This nonprofit funded solely by donations and grants, and special events and initiatives are key moments for connections to be made. From season-specific nights-out to month-long engagement campaigns, social media plays a key role in catching the community's attention, including community calendars, Facebook, and Instagram, especially. I wanted to convey the glam of the soiree and the playfulness of a potential music series through these graphics, respectively.
